Brief

The plan was to extend the current patio area and reduce the size of the upper tier. We excavated the garden, taking the lower tier back2 meters and installed an Indian sandstone patio which included a spectacularly cut inlay manhole cover. We then introduced a railway sleeper step which also acts as a retainer and continued with railway sleepers either side to create raised beds. We also popped in feather edge fencing on both sides, the right side from ground height and the left side mounted above an existing wall to match the back fence. Marvellous!
